Mixed patterns do mix after all

I've always been a fan of patterns. Plaids, Stripes, Polka Dots you name it. I refuse to believe that they can't mix. What do  you think?

From head to toe:

Hat: Gap
Glasses: Ray-Ban
Stripped Shirt: H&M
Button Up: H&M
Chinos: Gap
Socks: J. Crew
Shoes: Clarks
